Terra Christa Farm

Key West is an old friend to me. I arrived here after graduating high school in Paris, France (talk about a difference in ambiance!). I was supposed to start college at UF in the fall, but my father was not aware international students had an earlier deadline than national students and my application was not received in time. So, I started school at Florida Keys Community College (scuba diving, what fun after years of French history!) and then, after a few years, moved to the"mainland" to complete my education, get married, have kids, etc.

So, after two decades, we are back! Funny how life goes full circle sometimes...I did kick and scream after leaving my heaven of a farm, but there are worse places to live than Key West! Kids are now complaining all we do is go to the beach...don't you feel sorry for them??!!

Here are a few pics we wanted to share...

From country to beach...

Our animal house (and yes, I am refering to the kids, as my four legged animals are better behaved!).

Marc and his iguana "Slap", who whips the kids with his/her (not sure...) tail when provoked, which is pretty much all the time.

PS: Chris makes fun of my new favorite dress, he says it is very 70's. Will someone please tell the man the 70's ARE back in!

...another "Alex" story. I started helping the boys fish by feeding the fish bread. So, here I was, laying on the dock feeding the fish when one of these guys decided to come down and visit. The boys froze as he came down and NIBBLED on my toes as I layed flat on my belly. They thought it was hysterical and I deserve some type of academy award for not flinching...

Victor learned to ride his bike, it is so much easier here than on the farm's dirt roads!
