This is my idea of a perfect weekend...
1. Sophia and Charlie Brown take first place in dressage, stadium and cross country to win her divison at Rocking Horse Park Eventing show on Sat, July 10.
2. Gaius will now be know as CHAMPION Terra Christa's Gaius Octavian...He is an official AKC champion but always was a champion in our family!
3. Spain defeats the Netherlands in the World Cup. Spain is my adopted country as I was raised there. As we say....GOOOOOAAAAAL!!!

Dog Show news:
West Palm Beach, July 10 and 11:
We have a Champion!!! Gaius won his last two points and is now an official AKC Champion. Livia was not to be outdone (she is a princess after all..) and she also won WInners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex. WOW, what a great weekend!! Thanks to our professional handler, Sharon Turner and to the judges.
Orlando, FL, June 25:
Gaius wins Reserve WInners Dog to his son, Mafu, who we bred! Mafu won Winners Dog!
Ft. Myers, FL , on May 23th, was a blast!
We did it again as Gaius won Winners Dog and Livia won Winners Bitch! This was the first time handling for my daughter Sophia, age 11, and she beat me! I will never live THAT down. I kept an eye on her as we entered the Best of Breed class. She looked adorable in her new dress, and Livia was a trooper too. She won Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex! I have to send a special "Thank You!" to Bobby and Jody (soon to be RR parents!) coming to the show from the Keys and lending a hand with the dogs and pics! You guys rock!
Vero Beach, May 3rd:
Livia did great in Vero Beach as she won Winners Bitch and Best of Winners on Sunday, May 3rd.
Elkton, April 11th:
Also, we are very proud that BOTH dogs won in Elkton, FL on April 11th as Gaius won Winners Dog and Livia won Winners Bitch and then Best of Winners! What a double win!! (AGAIN!).

North Ft. Myers show wins
My heroes, Bobby, Sophia and Jody.
The winners...
Me, checking on Sophia, but I think I need to worry about me, she is fine!
Sophia, lining up with the pros.
This was a tricky photo shoot...We tried placing Livia in front but she kept wanting to play with Gaius...
Sophia was soooo..happy!

We have hit the 2010 show circuit full stride! Living in the Keys has proven challenging as far as being able to attend dog shows. Neverheless, Gaius has exceeded our expectations with limited showing! We currently are campaigning both Gaius and Livia, see pics below. Gaius won Best of Winners (Major) in Lakeland and followed up with another Major in Nashville, TN.
On April 3rd and 4th we attended the St. Petersburg dog show held in Manatee, FL. We won both Winners Dog with Gaius AND Winners Bitch with Livia, a double win. THEN, they competed against each other and Gaius won Best of WInners. It was not over yet as Livia was chosen Best over Opposite Sex over Specials!
Oh, but we were not done! The following weekend, April 10 and 11th, Gaius and Livia showed again with similar results! Gaius won WInners Dog, Livia was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners. I guess it was her turn but in any event it speaks volumes as to the quality of our dogs! Thank you, Judges!

Gaius and Sophia, age 9, taking a nap between classes. Sometimes, you wish you did NOT win the Group as you have to wait forever!
First show, first GROUP win and a made International Champion! Picture taken by Sophia, thanks honey!
Gaius, front angle.
Gaius, being patient and waiting our turn. He is now 95 lbs of pure love!
